In honor of Veteran's Day, the City of Clearwater is proud to salute all military veterans who served heroically in the United States Armed Forces.

This year is also the 50th anniversary of the United States Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater! Since 1976, we have been home to the largest and busiest air station in the Coast Guard. They support a variety of missions with both HC-27J and MH-60T aircraft, and also have an award-winning galley, medical clinic, exchange and housing office to service hundreds of Coast Guard personnel assigned to units in the greater Tampa Bay Area.
We have chosen the
Coast Guard Foundation, a national non-profit that reaches United States Coast Guard personnel. They are accepting donations that will go directly to Clearwater United States Coast Guard members and their families to support in many ways: education grants for spouses, wellness and morale programs, emergency relief, youth enrichment programs, and more.
